Allie is an editor on the travel desk for National Geographic.
She previously wrote stories with 20/20, Nightline, and World News Tonight for ABC News Digital, where she won a Peabody Award for her coverage of the Breonna Taylor case in 2021. She started as an intern for WPIX the summer before her sophomore year at NYU, and worked as a digital producer for the station until May 2016. She was nominated for an Emmy award for her coverage of Pope Francis’ visit to New York in 2015. She wrote for The View and ABC News from 2016-2018.
She graduated in 2016 with a degree in psychology and minors in social work and media studies. Allie is a born-and-bred New Yorker with family in Brooklyn and Queens. (She currently lives on the other side of the Hudson.)
She loves an Aperol spritz, a good bass line and female vocals, her adoptees Katsu and Miso, high fantasy (especially playing Geralt of Rivia), fresh bread, and stick-and-poke tattoos.
